43. Yeah it counts as sci-fi
Classic cyberpunk with martial arts and Zen tossed in.

I wish they would have gone in the direction of a matrix-within-a-matrix (where Zion is just another matrix) for the sequels.

34. I actually bought it on DVD
to augment a lesson. I forgot what it was all about -- I only showed part of it once and the kids were so disgusted I decided to find another way to enhance the lesson.

14. I like the older, cheesier SF from the 50s...
Movies like "Earth Vs. The Flying Saucers", "It! The Terror From Outer Space!", "The Angry Red Planet", "Forbidden Planet",etc...


My favorite would perhaps be "First Spaceship On Venus", a 1959 East German movie based on a book by Stanislaw Lem...Really well done scenes on Venus itself.
