Gaeta is saying something like "Saul Tigh was killed trying to escape and Admiral Adama has been convicted of treason and is awaiting execution" and it shows Adama blindfolded standing in an airlock. It's pretty safe to assume that Adama won't be killed, but the preview shows no footage of Tigh, so who knows - I find it hard to believe they'd spoil a major character death in a preview blurb, so I'm betting Gaeta's bluffing, but with BSG you can never be sure.

Think about Ellen's words on Earth and they both came back on Caprica somehow. Even if Tigh is dead here I expect him and Ellen to return before the end of the series. That would seem fitting.

Baltar threatened to reveal their secret. To what was he referring? I missed the first couple of seasons.

41. In the webisodes. (spoilers for the webisodes)

Gaeta, some humans and a couple of Sharons are lost in a raptor because of a corruption in the data for their jump with the fleet.

People start dying and in the process with find out one of the Sharons has been killing people on the raptor and in flashbacks, we find out that Gaeta and that particular Sharon have a history on New Caprica where he was providing her with names of people who were detained that were in the resistance and she was claiming she was helping them escape from detention, but in actuality was killing them.

Baltar apparently knew about the arrangement (presumably because they were forcing Baltar to sign their death warrants) and Gaeta was forced to realize he had been played for a chump by the Sharon model when it should have been obvious to him all along what was happening.

When Baltar was awaiting trial on Galactica for his role in the deaths of the many on New Caprica, Baltar revealed he knew about Gaeta's little arrangement and that's when Gaeta stabbed Baltar in the neck with a pen.

That's the secret.
