PHILADELPHIA — The all-amateur Wing Bowl XVII proved to be not for the faint of heart with competitors and wingettes alike tossing their cookies — or in this case, wings — at the Wachovia Center Friday.

South Jersey resident Jonathan “Super Squibb” Squibb, 23, claimed victory by cramming 203 wings into his 6 foot, 4 inch, 215-pound frame, winning a 2009 Mini Cooper, a custom championship ring provided by Steven Singer, and plastic crown.
