OMZ!1 I am now dialup-FREE and able to see YouTube & such!1

Switched to wireless (but on a phone WIRE because of tree-interference) and thusly got rid of the landline!1 Not only is this plus cell phone (also an innovation for me, the last person alive not to have one) cheaper, but it consolidates bills/services AND am now able to see video links!1 Gosh!1

I remember when I first switched... my old apartment complex finally installed 'high-speed' internet in every apartment. It wasn't particularly high-speed, but by the gods at least it wasn't dialup. :)

2. Do you have a limit as to how much data you transfer over your wireless

but I use transfer too much data streaming tv shows and music for me to afford it.

I don't know how the package you have is structured, but you will want to look very closely at your first bill.

3. I hear you

I finally got DSL about a year ago and what a difference! It was ridiculous - I had friends living in remote areas of the Philippines who had high-speed internet while I still had dial-up - here in the good ol' Silicon Valley. :eyes:

That's what I get for living in the woods.

But I have one laptop computer with wireless broadband so I can take it virtually anywhere - I get a connection when I'm camping. Very handy.

I have had a cell for a long time but I will be the last on dial-up, probably;(
