Screw the Parental Advisory Lock!
There goes my plans for the night!

I got "The Bourne Identity" on Netflix. I never saw it but I love the book.

So I just tried to watch it, and my stupid DVD player has a parental advisory lock on it, and it blocks out certain movies for some reason. Not some of my porn though! ha ha! :P

It asks for a password in order to bypass the lock but I don't know the password. It's been doing this for years and I still never tried to call the company to see if anything can be done about it.

Guess I'll have to see what's on one of the movie channels or on On-Demand!

:)

1. I like all of the movies! You should see them.
Call the company. You will only be on hold for a couple of hours! :P

3. Try 1111
That's the most common default password on DVD players. If that doesn't work, try 0000, then 1234.

4. 8888 is also a common password.
Give us the manufacturer and model, and we can probably find out the default password for the parental lock.

Or, if you have the manual, it's in there. Or, if you don't have the manual, most manuals are available online at the manufacturer's website.

5. 3308 works on a bunch of generic Chinese-made DVD players.

7. Thanks for trying to help.
I tried 1234, 0000 and a few others. None worked. I don't have the manual.
I haven't called the company yet.
It's a Fisher model from maybe 8-9 years back. Maybe I will check on-line to see if I can find any other info. out.
