A sure cure:

Have him sit down, and get comfortable; he needs to relax as much as he can.

Then, he must hold his breath as long as he can. Then he lets it out, and immediately he takes another breath.

Again, he holds it as long as he can.

Lather, rinse, repeat...

It works...

The sooner he starts, the sooner the hiccups go away...

I have never had this fail, NEVER.

And giggle all you want!
