5. I actually just applied for a job I would LOVE to get

and I *think* I'm very qualified for.
We'll see. The local job market SUCKS (it has historically sucked for new grads even when the economy was decent)and moving is not an option.
I've got my fingers crossed. I'm certainly not the only one bemoaning unemployment at present!

6. hmm, Steelers win, snow and ice melts, kid has algebra homework...

and I just spent a half-hour explaining where to look for an explanation of the concepts, and the idea that it helps to review the concepts if you are stuck. But at least it makes me remember how to solve equations...

I have to figure out what to do for my 2nd career. Choice A - Jazz drummer. Choice B - a different version of what I do now, that would probably involve at least more classes in my field, or at most, getting another Master's or applying for a PHD program.
