Am I the only person who loves Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - The movie?
Aerosmith, Bee Gees, Alice Cooper, George Burns and loads of great Beatle music.

What's not to love?

1. You're the only one I've ever heard of.

What's not to love is: the first four things on your list, singing the fifth thing on your list.

2. Okay, I'll take Alice Cooper off since his song did kinda suck...
but then I have to add Earth, Wind and Fire. They were good.

Notice, though, I did NOT mention Lucy and the Diamonds. They did suck in a major way.

3. I was going to say: EW&F was the best cover by far.

4. Jojo was a man who thought he was a woman, but he was another man
Billy Preston tore it up with that one. I liked it for what it was, not for what it might've been had the Beatles been there.

9. Damn. Seven years later she tried out for "Star Search"?
That's harsh. Plus it looks like she washed out in one episode.

10. Pig
You skipped over the other posts in this thread by people who are also the "only ones" who liked it. It wasn't the Beatles, but then it wasn't supposed to be. It was what it was. This was the do whatever feels good 70s, so there's nothing wrong with a disco version of the Beatles.

Either you missed the seventies, or you missed the seventies.

15. "Pig?"

"Nothing wrong" and disco should never be in the same sentence.

The only reason people reminisce about the '70s is because the '80s sucked even worse.

11. I don't "love" it but I love some aspects of it, particularly some of the music
on the soundtrack. "Fixing A Hole," and some of the other songs. I'm too lazy to go track by track, but a lot of people dismissed that film unfairly. There were some good things about it.

Thanks for posting this. It's interesting to know someone else even remembers it.

I'm sure now I'll start remembering all sorts of things that I did like about it...LOL

Describing that "film" as a travesty is being kind.
