London DUers... how's the snow?

Just got an email from a friend in Brighton... WOW and another from SE London...

1. I'm across the Channel, but we got it here, too

Not as bad in Belgium, where I was yesterday afternoon, but my train back to Germany that evening originated in Paris, and was badly delayed due to the weather there. That had to be a first. My friend in London called me on my cell to tell me he couldn't even make it out of his house yesterday. He lives in Harrow. The forecast called for 5°C above today in the southeast UK, which means they'll get flooded in no time flat.

2. I'm in Northern England, and we have quite a bit here.

This is my second winter here, and this is by far the most snow I've ever seen here - maybe 5 inches. When it does rarely snow here, it doesn't stick around for more than a few hours .... this is different. Since I don't drive, I sort of like it - better than the constant rain. Now I want to go sledding.
