I say "yay" to Daschle, because I think his hands are far too deep into the healthcare industry to be a good warrior for the common people.

I'm sad about Killefer because she seemed like she was really qualified for the post, and her tax issue seems to involve only about $1000 (and since she's withdrawing herself because of that small amount, it makes me wonder if she isn't sitting on a far larger one that she wants to make sure the IRS doesn't know about - she is a partner at McKinsey & Co., so she's monied)

And I'm disheartened that both are because of past tax issues.
