My payments should go down by $400 or so (only $200 on the statements, but I had an 80/10/10 loan, and the second one had a 15-year balloon, so I've been paying extra to keep ahead of that) which is nice, since there is a non-zero chance that my wife will have to take a %10 paycut if the economy turns around.

And if she doesn't, hey extra money is always nice.

Since I got the advice here, I'll pass it along - If you have a mortgage, check into refinancing while the rates are still low.
