7. I need copy of that picture
Maybe I could finally convince my nieces of the importance of using sunscreen. All my rantings about what they're doing to their "delicate Irish skin" aren't working...But now I have proof!

15. I do
I have a lot of respect for Eunice Shriver for all the work she's done for Special Olympics and other causes. She's one of my favorite Kennedys.

16. Yup
which is why I wasn't contributing to it. Lots of us won't look that hot at 82, either, presuming we make it that far. What is with the Kennedy-family bashing around here lately?

18. Arnold's Bohemian Grove endorsed run for CA Governor, imho.
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2003/07/23/BA253080.DTL

(snip)

From what we've heard, the Republican hierarchy -- especially those close to former Gov. Pete Wilson -- would favor Schwarzenegger. At least that's the word that came out of the Bohemian Grove this past weekend, where a number of state and national GOPers, including presidential adviser Karl Rove, happened to have gathered at a club getaway.

Edited on Sun Aug-10-03 09:40 PM by inthecorneroverhere
Looks like she's got all her hair. Thus, whatever it is isn't chemotherapy....

If she's made it to 82 with all that hair, I say congrats, no matter what!!!

20. So we're resorting to the lower level of humanity?
Maria Shriver likely balances the next governor of California.

I'm not thrilled about Arnold potentially winning the recall, but you call yourselves Democrats and disparage her?

This must be the "Kucinich isn't pretty enough" overly shallow continegent of DU. :(

21. Look.. I only posted it because I had no idea how old she was..
The picture was posted on the web, not snitched from the family photo album..

Maria's gaunt look is a given.. Arnold must like it.. The picture was posted to ask how old she was.. She obviously has made it to a ripe old age, and is not embarrassed by her wrinkles..

I did not intend to disparage her...just found a pic and posted it..that's all..

23. No apology necessary...
as far as I'm concerned.

In fact, I'm REALLY glad you didn't find one of Babs Bush!

Just wondering, I know why pictures of bush in the news always make him look stupid, (after all, consider the subject). But why would someone put this particular picture into circulation? I have a feeling it originated in a RW element. In any case;

and EEEEK was deserved.

thanks for the laugh.
