Well, I've also been up all night, unable to sleep, so I don't know if that counts.

I allow the sun to get comfortable for at least 6 hours. The local golf courses are so thoughtful to begin twilight rates just as I'm finishing breakfast.

But damn these college basketball scheduling fiends! The next three weeks are the most diabolical of the year for night-working sleep-ins like me. Conference tournament games, then NCAA tournament, all day/every day.

Friday's lidlifter is the colossal Evansville/Indiana St matchup in the Missouri Valley tournament, 10 AM Pacific. At least I'll sleep with a grin after Thursday's fluke fortune, a 4-0 wagering night with a glorious overtime rescuing my "over" 137 on Cal Riverside/Cal Northridge.
