Dog Eats Dead Owner

A DOG locked inside a cabin in Norway for several weeks after the death of his owner went unnoticed survived by eating part of the corpse, a Norwegian daily reported today.

The man, who had no family, lay dead in the cabin for "a month, maybe a month-and-a-half" before his body was discovered by a neighbour, a policeman told the online edition of Agderposten.

"There was also a dog there. And he was alive. We found leftover dog food in the cabin but there are signs that he survived by feeding on the corpse," the policeman said.
