My stomach done blowed up again...
So I am on a liquid diet for today - YAY!

And none of those liquids include beer :(

Woke up last night around 3am, and just hurled stomach acid. Went back to bed, woke up at 7 and hurled again. It's not the flu - my stomach is the only thing screwed up.

So since this morning's fun, I made a run for chicken soup, gatorade, and the saltine crackers for later today (hopefully).

No beer for a while :(

2. Oh I'm almost off those
This started happening long before I cycled on Pain Killers.

Basically my Avil-Ale-Coffee diet is not good for me

My stomach, once made of iron and able to digest large amounts of spicy thai food with a single burp, is now just a hollow shell that it once was...

I cant eat the super spicy thai coconut curry dish anymore. Or drink tons of soda or eat meat! It fuckin sucks.

When my stomach would act up like yours weed was a life saver.

4. LOL - I haven't been told to stop smoking that :)
But yeah, soda (where I really was an addict - 5 cans a day), coffee beer - all of those I'm supposed to curtail for a while.

5. Sincere condolences
I'm living on boiled rice and tapioca pudding. Gastritis. Probably caused by all the stress I've been under. At least I'm not hurling.

Sending good vibes for you to feel better soon!

8. The main thing is diversity,
One can buy acidophilus alone, but a good diverse product will be called pro-biotics and will have many types of live bacteria and flora. Sometimes they contain herbs and other things that can (for me) cause discomfort because they are "cleansers". I prefer the living flora alone with no herbs.

Any healthy-ish store will have them and they are usually in a refrigerator in the supplements department.

Actually, there are a lot of products to aid digestion in health food stores. Most of them are not "woowoo" because the digestive system is pretty well understood and the supplements/food goes directly there. It is a less tenuous connection than, say, milk thistle helping your liver.

11. Probiotics are gelcaps - no flavor.
No sugar or dairy either.

I think this is going to be good for you.

The changes in bowel moves is pretty obvious.

12. Some stomach issues (and some bad breath/stress issues) come from bacteria overgrowth
out of the intestines and up into the stomach.

Even thrush on the tongue is a yeast/candida overgrowth.
