Damn dog- 1, whole peach pie - 0.
You know, I guess I should also be upset that he also ate an entire package of hot dog buns in addition to the pie.

But I can't get upset about the loss of the buns in comparison to the pie.

I loved that pie. The criss-cross decorative crust... The crystals of raw sugar on top...

My heart is broken.

That damn dog's eaten things you people wouldn't believe.

A whole pound of raw bacon when my back was turned while cooking breakfast.

Two sticks of butter I had softening on the shelf when making cookies.

All those moments will be lost in time, like cheetos on the rug.

Time to cry.

1. A whole bag of fireballs
My sister's dog ate a whole bag of atomic fireballs a couple months ago. We guessed it was not a fun sensation either direction, but couldn't believe the goofball kept eating them in the in-put direction.

6. Yup,
I had a yellow lab that ate an opened plastic jar of peanut butter including the jar, minus the lid.
He also ate an unopened can of tuna. I came home and there were tiny bits of tuna can all over the floor. Needless to say, I stopped leaving anything out on the counters.

10. Yup and
my yellow lab, as a pup, gulped down a 4 inch pine cone (still closed up), in one swallow. We had to feed her vaseline, which she licked right off the spoon like it was some grand, tasty treat, and wait for the exit of said pine cone. The dog never flinched when she pooped it out.

14. I would put that dog outside until that pie has worked its way through the system,
Bowel control could be an issue.

16. I just saw a dog at the vet that ate a thong
...and by thong, I don't mean g-string.

He had eaten an entire flip-flop, mostly whole. It had to be surgically removed.

So at least your dog appears to be eating mostly food items.

19. Our (late) dog Sheena ate a 4 pound dish of homemade lasagna
our neighbor gave us. It was on the kitchen table, and we went back outside to thank her.....
She also ate several pounds of chocolate candies in one of those multi-level Christmas gift boxes....
She was a mixed breed, maybe 60 pounds, maybe part lab and part terrier of some kind.
Our current dog loves butter. He will lick a quarter like ice cream till it's gone and the paper wrapper is perfectly clean.
He is a Dobie/Great Dane, about 115 pounds and on a diet like his old man.

mark

20. I had a dog once (golden retriever) who stood on her hind legs
and ate the center out of a chocolate cake in 8x11 glass pan cooling on a rack in the middle of the kitchen table. She never even moved the pan off the rack! And she didn't get sick from the cake, either.
