"I want my guns and I want children to be born"
I give you an email i received through my website today.. enjoy -

"Ava-
I am so very thankful that you have taken the time and made the effort to take a stand for what you believe. You are to be commended for that. I do however find some fault with the stance you have taken. I don't think that a stronger government was what our founding fathers wanted because they had a government to oppress them in England they came here to get les government. First we had no government and that was no good so they created the articles of confederacy. This was a positive step from no government but not very efficient. Then later in history we had our Constitution of the United states of America this in my opinion is the most amazing document in the history of the world. It included everything then and deals effectively with most issues now. We have slowly added more law and given the government more control of our individual rights as time ticks by. I want my guns and I want children to be born. I think a woman's right to choose stops when she conceives she can choose an active lifestyle or abstinence I have no quarrel with that but I must advocate on the side of the child. If she doesn't want or can't support a child she should think about that before choosing an active lifestyle. I work hard for a living so that I'm not dependant on social programs and I think that every body who is capable should do the same thing. I think people in the community need to look out for and support their neighbors but it is not the governments place to obligate me to support anyone except myself and my family. I think if you break a law you should be punished and that goes for every person of every nationality that is here illegally. They are not citizens so our programs and our security do not apply to them. If bad things happen to them that is terrible the only thing they deserve is a return trip home. Please visit these organizations website and study what they feel is right; NRA, AFA, and the Minuteman PAC. I think that there are so many perspectives that make sense and you are just skirting the edge of what truth is please broaden your horizon to other plausible views."

Oh dear

as I understand it, you've gotten some nasty emails before. :scared: That being said, wow. I am so sick of people saying, "all you have to do is work hard to get ahead... the government shouldn't be supporting people." Maybe they should try being unemployed. x(

14. Sad
I knew someone like that. He ended up with a serious medical condition, lost his job, and had to be "supported" by the government for a while. Even when he had an excellent job, he had started that second family, being divorced from the first and all, and wasn't quite right with child support payments. Very convoluted logic on what and when he should pay, but had no problem makin' more babies with what was that? An active lifestyle. He COULD have chosen to keep his pecker in his pants, but I doubt that end of the equation ever, ever, ever occurred to him.

It ended up to be quite a habit with him, being supported by the government that is.

He became even more of a wing nut, a conspiracy theorist type with a total lack of compassion for others and absolutely no insight into, well anything.

24. "...She should think about that before choosing an active lifestyle."
For someone so unwilling to think about the matter after impregnation, this rube certainly seems to be an adept mind-reader, able to divine the "lifestyle" of a complete stranger.

Let's call it what it is: this rube wants sex punished by pregnancy, with no exceptions.

28. FAIL on the Founding Fathers myth
The Founding Fathers wanted a government that would allow trade to be unfettered, to enrich the shipping interests in New England that were the huge backers of the Revolution. That we got what we did in the Constitution and Bill of Rights is amazing when you think about it.

I don't remember anything like that. I'm not doubting your knowledge, in fact, I embrace it, but why can't schools embrace it, too? It seems to me that information like that would make history all the more fascinating to learn :)
