Poll question: Top Chef Fans: Who are you picking to win it all?
I'm still shocked that Carla managed to outlast BOTH DR. Chase AND Jaime. I'm thinking it's going to come down to Stefan and Fabio with Stefan winning it all.

1. Carla has really upped her game.
She started out very rocky, but the last couple weeks have been great for her. Stephan's the only one that has been consistently great though, and I think he'll end up taking it all.

2. not really
remember her yogurt soup and her "I brought the love" tirade, lol. I'll give you that this week she was better than Jamie, but she should've never gotten to this point.

4. She won last week.
And did quite well this week. The yogurt soup was 3 weeks ago, and yes, that was pretty awful!

10. She certainly deserves to still be there -- she showed her classic chops last night
She impressed Chef Eric, and that is quite a compliment. She just ahsn't had much of a chance to really show her background until the last two weeks or so. She should ahve won last night: Stephan had the easiest dish, and she had the hardest.

12. That was my thought as well
It was a simple dish, well executed vs a more complex dish, again well executed. I wonder what Tom says on his blog over at Bravo?

13. I haven't had a chance to read it today
I wish Eric was a regular judge instead of Tom. And, I miss Gail.

Chef Eric was also very impressed that Carla figured out the "trick" of the sauce!

15. That's true.
He's a jackass and he knows how to play the game, but he's also been pretty consistently good (except for last week).

3. I'm amazed Leah is still in
My money is on Stefan.

Hoseah is always going on that he is the fish guy and then comes out with excuses as to why he didn't do better with the sardines and eel.

5. me too- I was sure she was a goner last night
I am so pissed they kicked off jamie. I think they are hoping for more "drama" between Leah and Hosea.

7. I am so ABS here
Edited on Thu Feb-05-09 02:37 PM by LynneSin
I cannot stand that pompous asshole Stefan and hope that it's anyone but Stephan that wins.

(ABS - Anyone But Stefan)

I hope it's Hosea - yeah he screwed up last night but I still think there is potential for him. And btw, for someone who questioned why a seafood chef can't fillet an Eel - well Eel isn't exactly something standard you'd find in any given seafood restaurant. He did have the best Shad (round #2 fish).

14. see i never picked that up
Sure he was an ass when he was in that group with Jaimie and Carla, but they did end up doing very well, if not winning outright. I think he's just very good and since the producers needed a villian, they chose the guy at the top of the heap.

11. I hope Carla, but I think Stefan.
Last night was so easy for him. Carla should have won that challenge.
