5. I have lots of CDs

ranging from classical to Dylan to James Taylor. When oneighty passed away he willed me his classical CDs .
He loved Mozart .
He left me some books too. Needless to say those Cds and books are my treasures

but I'm really into fantasy lit and I love dragons and unicorns (I've always loved horses too) and collect them both. Oh and whales too. Yeah I have eclectic taste..:)

4. Not a hobby horse

I'm not a person that is really into hobbies per say,
but I have a shitload of books,because I luv to read.

In particular,I like reading non-fiction/educational books.

I also really enjoy watching TV,and surfing the net.

And in the last 2 yrs,I have been going to the gym.

Boring,yes I know.lol

I have tried knitting,and stuff of that nature,but I can't
get into a lot of stuff.

Something has to really captivate my interest,and be relatively
easy to do,or I get frustrated.lol

6. I collect Lake Superior agates, very specific pieces of beach glass (I have a system), old books,

old cookbooks, ephemera (politics, labor, specific corporations, some cooking), Soviet and Russian stuff, and dust. I collect a lot of dust.

Oh, and I have an old collection of Breyer horses from when I was younger. And a Breyer unicorn, TZ! :hi:

8. Comics, action figures/urban vinyl, flip books, smashed pennies

I collect a lot of crap.
Smashed pennies I get when traveling.
Comics just because I like reading them, mostly indie ones that will probably never have much value.
I haven't bought many figures lately, I need to add some shelves in the basement first.
Flip books live in a drawer under my bed. I take them out and gently flip them from time to time.

15. Thrift store cameras.

Everyone is dumping their old film cameras.

Usually I go after cameras $5 or less, mostly I get them for $1, but I will spend up to $10 for something unusual.

My rule is the camera has to find me. I don't go looking for cameras, and I don't ask for cameras, otherwise I would be buried in them.

It's really cool to get a camera I had or really wanted as a kid for next to nothing.

Still, my favorite 35mm is one I bought new a long time ago: an Olympus XA2.

Several years ago I bought a really cool frog made of wire at a street fair in Chicago and I considered making him the first in a collection by my grand daughter spied him and made him part of HER collection

28. I collect slowly. I'm really picky. I don't want anyone else to get me a frog. I only have

about 4 but I always keep my eye out for them. I used to work in a gift store in my home town. They had tons of frogs from all sorts of sources. I stay away from that store because I know I'd go crazy in there as I wasn't collecting until after I left. I was probably inspired by all the frogs they had to start my own collection. That and happy childhood memories.

they get wet and the chemical composition changes. That's rare. But if kept dry they can last indefinitely and are stable. I lit a sparkler that was at least 50 years old and it worked perfectly.

37. My ancestors: I do family genealogy. And US history books.

I currently have 443 family members in my tree on Ancestry. Could be a lot more, but I won't link into other's research unless I can confirm it myself. Not all documents
are online, so several hundred people will have to wait until I can vacation in Maine one year.
