He came to fix the leak I had this morning, curtesy of aging pipes and frigid weather.

Besides talking about the leak, he saw an English Ale on my patio table and asked if I were into home brewing. Turns out he likes to homebrew, and yeah. knows some folks around here who make the illegal hard stuff.

I said I had and interest in making home brandies and such for next holiday season.

I think it's one reason we were officially "dry" for so long. People just didn't care because they were making it at home.
