Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane

Has anyone read this book by the same author as Mistic River? My book group is reading it next month and I wonder what my DU friends think of it.

1. It...is....GREAT!!

SO much better than DaVinci Code.

I love all of Lehane's books. This is a psychological thriller set on an island containing a psych hospital.

You'll try to figure it out, but you'll probably be wrong.

This was my favorite book of 2003. And that includes "Lies and the Lying liars..."

4. Shutter Island was fascinating, unsettling, confusing

and well worth the read. I THINK I understand the ending but I'm not entirely certain and there is some doubt.

All in all, its well worth the read. Enjoy!
