Ok, so I used to hate Morrissey. As Robert Smith said, "If more says 'don't eat meat', then I'm going to eat meat, because I hate Morrissey." However, I've recently discovered that I in fact sort of love the Smiths and Morrissey.
Now, a certain woman who I tend to post a lot about in here (possibly my most popular topic with 60 - 70 responses in the last few days, along with being my most asinine post ever), invited me to go see Morrissey in May with her family. There is nothing in the world that I would like more than doing that, but it is many months away during which a lot of time could happen, and the now sold-out tickets cost 100 pounds.
So, what do you think? Try to go see Morrissey with this lady, or pass? Either way it may be a pass, because I could be un-invited if I were to get a ticket. However, it may be just the thing to help us be closer, and now I know that I would really enjoy it.
It's a lot of money, but it's not as much as I considered spending on a guitar or something. Alternately, if things go insanely well with this lady, I could use the same money to help us go to Berlin, Paris, or Prague this summer, which would be lovely, but is also about 8 steps removed, and doesn't involve me getting to enjoy a Morrissey concert.
