Loungers suffering from the flu: check in here.
Sinuses feel like they're full of Olive Garden al fredo...can't concentrate and not making sense when I speak like Chuggo... feels like a large pit bull has it's teeth around my brainstem...feel hot and flushed like an embarrassed prude watching a mother breastfeed a baby...

Please kill me.

3. Thanks for the hug.
Having somewhat of a mini-epidemic here in Dallas.
They shut down the Catholic school up the street yesterday because so many kids were getting sick.

I'm gonna go back and lie down.

2. Can you let PMS count for this one thread?
Please. I'm hurting like a sombitch (head, stomach, back, and ass, yes, I said my ass hurts too) and cannot seem to shake the feeling that I'll kill something today unless I get a DU style intervention. That's gotta count for something, right?

4. I'm going to say no to someone who has a feeling that they're going to take somebody apart?
Oh no.

Welcome to the sick ward.

5. Monsieur Café got me sinus rinsing and it helped so much when I caught a cold.

Couldn’t stand the snot! So the next day, when I was feeling stronger, I did the rinse and voila! Also, roasted garlic in everything, I was better in no time.

Stay warm, drink plenty of fluids and a lemon honey menthol cough drop dissolved in tea is pretty good and will help you feel better.

Edit for excessive punctuation.

10. Take a really long, steamy shower
and then use the Neti pot. Works like a charm.

11. I use a Neilmed.
It is a squeeze bottle. I started just using a small sport bottle style water bottle. Once I decided I could tolerate it I bought the Neilmed at Costco for ~ $14.00 for two kits. I sent the extra one to my sister. Really, try the cough drop dissolved into herb tea, it is comforting.

12. I went through it in November. Fever, ACHY-NESS, couldn't breath,
more achy-ness, couldn't think straight, no appetite, and achy-ness. Be sure you get plenty of rest and drink fluids, because it can be serious. Mine became pneumonia, which caused a cough so bad I cracked a rib. Series. The rib pain ended around New Year's. So, I had symptoms of one kind or another from mid-November through New Year's.

The flu is nothing to f*ck with.

13. Other people in the house have the flu.
Two nights ago I had the chills/fever and I had what felt like a migraine.
No sore throat or stomach ache and it also only lasted one night.
I’m not sure whether or not it even was the flu.
Perhaps I have some super immunity that obliterates the flu in 8 hours.
ta-da!
