I cooked my aunt and me some fishsticks and shrimp (from a box, I'll try anything once).

I like shrimp more and my aunt likes fish sticks more, so we divvied up the numbers before I cooked. I forgot the numbers for the fish sticks, but wanted 4 out of the 6 shrimp because my aunt usually gets more fish sticks. It's the way we work out our fishsticks to shrimp ration thing.

Anyhow...

I was taking my aunt's plate to her and I asked, "Is this enough fish sticks for you?"

Sunday Girl, my 16 year old female cat, sat up on my aunt's bed and said, "Yes" just as plain as any human would ever say it.

I love my cats.

1. I have one that says "no"

She takes a daily medication, which she doesn't like, and many times, she says "no" when she sees me coming with it.

Poor baby, but the med is keeping her healthy, so she must take it!

"Up?" When the little one wants to get up on the fridge top and can't get there.

If Fat Freddy pulled his tail, he always invoked the name of the leader of China at the time.

If Fat Freddy's cat wanted to visit the outdoors, he always said, "Me out now!"

I swear, he would just draw out his whine so it sounded like that and it was only when you were eating something he wanted. I think it is possible. They don't have the tongue agility that we have, but they sure do seem to understand words.
