I Found an Interesting E-Mail in My Inbox This Morning

I was cleaning the spam out of my inbox this morning - there was a lot, because I hasven't been online that much since the accident last week. Among the Viarga and penis enlargement messages, I found the following message:

Subj: Did you alert on me to get me banned on DU?
Date: 2/29/2004 10:51:55 PM Mountain Standard Time
From: --------
To: XXXXXXXXXXXX

Just asking...

I sent a reply, saying I didn't know who this person was, and asked them to identify themselves by DU user name. A few minutes later, that e-mail came back as undeliverable.

Anyone else have something like this happen to them?

1. there was a DUer with name deadliving that appeared last weekend

or so, and got into some stupid flamefests of insulting people.

He got banned in the midst of this pissing match (though I don't know if it's because of what she/he was saying in this thread or elsewhere, but this flamefest stopped because deadliving went bye bye).

Sorry to see your post about having an accident. I hope you're getting all the treatment and responsiveness from your insurance company.

My wife's an attorney here in CO and she sees alot of car accident people get screwed by insurance companies and managed care doctors - she says it seems like it's getting worse.

As for your email, haven't seen thaqt - although I did get banned by accident a few months ago. Sent an email to the mods and they straightened it out. :)

3. I'm Still Very Sore, BBB

I'm currently seeing two doctors - a spine specialist and a pain management specialist. I have two herniated discs from being rear-ended on I-25 back in 2000 (I was going 55, the asshole who hit me was going between 90 and 100.) I've been wearing a TENS unit since 2002, and right now I'm using a cane because my left leg is a little weak. Last week's accident re-aggravated the old injuries.

Later today, an investigator from my attorney's office is stopping by the house to take my statement.
