28 Dogs Found Abandoned

FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. - Michael Bermudez was driving home just after midnight Thursday. He thought he saw a fox on the side of the road.

Turns out it was a dog - in fact, a whole lot of dogs. It was just 12 degrees outside. That's why Bermudez felt he had to catch the dogs and get them warm right away.

He caught ten of them. Since the, Frederick County Animal Control has captured lots more.

So far, 28 of the abandoned dogs are in the care of Animal Control. The dogs are adults. They have fleas and skin troubles, but most are in good condition.

This just makes me so MAD and on such a cold day! (12 degrees). At least it sounds like many of the dogs will be adopted. But I just heard about this on the local news and it upset me..:grr:

That's a huge, huge pack of dogs if they were all loose. I'd love to see the dynamic of them all together at once.
