I am so glad Gaeta and Zarek got what they deserved, and that Tigh survived.

1. Me too. Oh my God was Adama awesome in this episode. He's got 17 different brands of crazy in all
sizes running around his ship, and he totally kicks ass in every g.d. scene. I'm so glad I don't have to listen to Zarek run his mouth anymore.

Although, if he dies, that might mean more screen time for Grace Pak, who can't act her way out of the bathroom. And dude, get Helo back on his feet! He's got his own special awesome that needs to be spread around, too!

thought that Saul was dead -- brilliant. But my favorite is when he's pissed at people who deserve it -- the man smokes.

If you had to piss off one of them, who would it be.

A) Admiral Adama

B) Starbuck

Me? I'd piss off Adama. He'd just shoot me. Starbuck I'm afraid would keep my alive while disemboweling me.

But he said it kinda weird. I listened to it with higher-quality audio on my computer with headphones.

I think the actor may have been so into the moment he *almost* forgot the "R."

30. I wasn't glad at all
It was a fantastic part of the story arc, although they are out of the show now, and have gone out as bad guys. Both Hatch and Juliani are excellent actors. (As with MOST of the cast.)

What I thought was jarring was Dee's suicide. But then again, suicide in real life is jarring to the survivors.

I was also impressed by the encounter between Tyrol and the rebel in the munitions room, and Roslin's short speech about never surrendering. Mary McDonnell's characters have tended to be "nicey-nice". All of the main characters have broken their role types several times (like Gaeta and Zarek in the last two eps), and it is (IMO) a big part of the show's appeal.

31. This episode was also one of the most brutal for deaths
and the manner in which people died.

The two most jaw-dropping scenes were when Zarek had the quorum killed and when the lawyer killed his guard with his pens! It was like he was ex-IRA or something :o

Oh, a couple of questions: When Tyrol was in the engine room, catching his breath after shutting down the engines, what was with the wall? Were they massive cracks in the structure or more like what they looked like, really big claw marks?

looks like by disabling the FTL Tyrol may have saved the ship from exploding.

I was distracted at the end so I didn't catch all the dialog but what was that scene with Gaeta and Baltar? Was that a flashback? I missed the point of the scene.

53. Gaeta was preparing himself to be executed, and Baltar was offering him sympathy.
Baltar would understand better than anyone the feeling of having done things he thought were necessary, only to see events spiral out of control.

42. I love TWOP's description of Adama in their weecap:
Also not rolling over: Admiral William Adama, who literally spends the entire episode telling every single person in the world to fuck off as loudly as one can through one's dentures. He is a Lean, Mean, Fuck You machine. It is amazing. Turns out his Bucket List has one item on it, and that item is: Everybody Goes To Hell. Bill's Care Bear Glare powers have never been so magically delicious. He tells Gaeta to cram eleven things up his ass, invites Zarek to blow him, calls his lawyer a pimp, tears holes in the hull using his glare... A couple of lieutenants actually cry, because he's that scary. Finally they have no choice but to tie him to a chair in front of a firing squad. Then he just starts spitting at people.

It was a great episode but I do wonder who will be the antagonist now that Zarek and Gaeta are dead. Will the other three Cylon models come back with a vengeance, or are we just going to see massive loose-thread-tying from here on out?

Not surprised Zarek then had them killed, though I was hoping that one of the marines or somebody would put a stop to it.
