a positive thought or two would be much appreciated over the next week or so. A typical good news-bad news type thing.

Good news -- I found a new job and today was orientation...it's something way different from what I've been doing for the past almost-seven years and it's out of my comfort zone, but it's full-time and it's during daylight hours.

Bad news -- while I was getting ready to leave for orientation this morning, I found a lump. Fuck. Fuckfuckfuckfuck. It's probably just a cyst, but....

Oh...and I found out just last night that #1 son and his SO are expecting again so I'm gonna be a grandma.

One more thing...#2 son got his learner's permit today. Bear in mind that this is a child who has never been able to keep anything with wheels on it intact. In his entire life. This is a child who would do things like skin the top of his head and run into walls. This is Bonehead.
