2. I just watched "War Inc." a few days ago

I knew of Hilary just because ...well I don't know why really. Probably saw it on the Today Show are something. My daughter is too young for the "tweener" stuff yet and Duff's tweener phase was a few years ago anyway.

War Inc. was okay-the Cusack fight scenes were, well, kick ass. Tomei and Cusack and Kingsley/Cusack scenes finally got the movie going where it should have been to start with. Aykroyd does a great Cheney.

3. I knew who she was, and you're right that...

something is lost when cultural history is lost. Hell, I knew who Jenny Lind and Caruso were, and they were waaaayy before my time.

But, it goes both ways, too, and we shouldn't be so smug not knowing who our kids and grandkids are listening to.
