Update on my newest feline rescue.
I took in a stray that was living under my porch when the weather was bitterly cold.

He's an intact male, named Nugget (he has pretty gold eyes), and he had his first trip to the vet.

He hates riding in the car with a passion and showed his displeasure coming and going to the vet with skillful use of his bladder.

Nugget behaved very well at the vets office and has been dewormed, weighs 13 pounds, is negative for FIV and FLV. He started his shots and in a couple of weeks I'll have him neutered.

I still haven't introduced him to the other cats, but they've been chatting it up at the basement door while Nugget has been in "quarantine".

So, the bottom line is, I has a new kitteh.

You're a good person for taking him in. I hope he and the other "kids" get along well!

4. Aw, you can haz award for SOOPER COMPASHUN.
He is a lucky man indeed-- an quite handsome.

I had a little black forest kitteh once too. She watched us from the trees for awhile and then decided to get in on the good life full time.
