...a bit too 'spicy'. Dune is more my taste--natural and not overpowering.

18. Opium on me, too
I love the lotion, too, when I can afford it. Perumania never has it anymore, so I have to pay full price at Marshall Fields or Lord & Taylor. So, I only buy it when I have extra money. I do keep the cologne around, I don't wear any other fragrances.

10. Caron is one of my favorite houses...
along with Guerlain. A long time ago,I was browsing the fragrance department at Jordan March when a Hemingway look-alike gentleman came up and handed me a bottle of perfume(not EDT)that he had just purchased. He told me that he just felt like buying someone a present that day. It was Caron's Nuit de Noel. I've never forgotten that day.

15. My Wife's Fave
Red. For an every day fragrance, she likes Red Door. She likes Chanel too, but then who doesn't? She really used to like Catalyst, but they don't make it anymore. Boy, was she upset!

But, Red is her all time fave. At least that's what i think!

Edited on Fri Mar-05-04 02:46 PM by SheWhoMustBeObeyed
Light, crisp and contemporary, sweet but not flowery. I liked Orientals when I was younger but now find them overwhelming. My favorite was KL by Karl Lagerfeld.

32. I can only stand fragrances that smell like citrus
everything else gives me migraines. I stick to drugstore TangerineTheraphy from The Healing Garden. Perfumes and colognes and men's shaving lotions make me quite ill.

it was very floral... gardenia-like. It's very old fashioned. I doubt many people remember it.

Personally, I've never cared for smelly women. Maybe it's a sensitive sense of smell, but I try to keep my distance from perfume wearing women.

50. Metal
The late, lamented Metal by Paco Rabonne. First time I smelled it I thought it was horrible. But it grew on me 'til I wore it every day. They don't make it anymore. Don't know if I would wear it anyway nowadays. I'd keep thinking I was my 25-year-old self.
