Me, I stayed up until 8am, watching old movies, trying to distract myself. And Jackie barked the whole damn time, didn't know what to do with him, know he's unhappy, too. I fed him, took him out numerous times, gave him at least a dozen "cookies," tried to get him to sit with me, but nothing worked. :-(

Next time I run into your wife at the neighborhood market (or the bank or the liquor store, LOL), I'll remind her to phone home... ;)

Sounds like a pretty demanding job, but also interesting. I used to love hanging around garages. My first job was at an amusement park and that was my boss's "office." He was a master mechanic and I took great pride in figuring out ways to fuss with the engine of my purple train so I could always get it back to the station...
