Halp!1 Need the HTML code for yellow highlighting

Am having to reconstruct a lot of lost stuff. Have googled the HTML but haven't found the one for yellow highlighting. This means YOU, SoCal!1

In the meantime, let me try this:

2. Use a span tag around the text in question

as in <span style="background-color:yellow">Your text here</span>

Also, that marquee tag is non-standard HTML and may not show up in all browsers properly. Plus it's annoying as hell, so unless you're trying to be annoying, I'd ditch it. ;)

5. I tried altering each of the numbers in the code and saw no difference n/t

6. It could be something with the browser

IE introduced the MARQUEE tag around version 3 (in response to Netscape's infamous BLINK tag). If you're not viewing the page in IE, you may not see any change in the appearance even if you change the parameters inside the tag, since it's a non-standard tag with minimal support in non-IE browsers.

8. It's posted in the O.P. Just substitute open/close BRACKETS for the

open/close "diamonds" (greater-than, lesser-than) symbols.
