"Castles don't have phones, Asshole!"
Guess what I got to see last night?

Live production. Not the movie.

It was hella fun. :bounce:

5. A Mother and Father dragged their kid out (12ish) in an exaggerated huff at one point,
What the hell did they think the show was about? Rocky Balboa meets the Wolfman?

Is that a photo op with Eddie and Magenta?

11. No. That's me as Eddie in the Louisville, Kentucky Floor Show at The Vogue. And members
of my fan club. Yes, I had a fan club. Those are the founding, and probably only, members there in the pic with me. You have to have a bit of a wild streak to enjoy RHPS, but deep down, there's still a bit of a straight-laced Southern boy in me. The girl on the right, I asked her how old she was. She said: "Sixteen." I asked her: "Does your mother know you're dressed like that?" She said: "Sure, she's sitting right there!" Her mother was a huge RHPS fan, and she is the one who took this picture. We later became good friends. Just a little story to go with the pic...

4. Rocky Horror
That's one of the standard shout-outs from the audience during the show. It occurs after two of the main characters, Janet (Slut!) and Brad (Asshole!) get a flat tire and Brad (Asshole!) suggests that they use the phone at the castle in the distance.

7. Slut!
So, since it was live, was there a chucking of TP and toast?

8. No chucking of anything. The cast asked please don't...but the audience had the callouts down pat.
"I didn't make him for you!"

"She gets him anyway!" :D

13. I wouldn't either, but I'm not in the crew...
and I can't imagine not having hundreds of hot dogs tossed up on stage for the cast to stomp on and squish if the crew doesn't get there fast enough.

(Come to think of it, I can't imagine why I would want to see it again anyway)

16. I saw a live production about 5 years ago.
When I was younger, I was in a local cast that had the film going in the background, so I was used to it that way, though I really enjoyed the live production.

I think a good roll of Scott's TP was the best thing to throw, with the toast being a close second. I have never been to one where they allowed wiener tossing.

10. I've never seen a plain live production, only the show with movie in the background.

14. Years ago
My old boyfriend and I were walking past a line for RHPS at about 11:55 one night, and he asked if I wanted to see it. I suggested that I was WAY not high enough...
