Was there a senior prank when you were in high school?
What was it?

Did you ever take part?

1. If you count the Senior Skip Day drunk and angry mob dismembering the principal.
But that wasn't really a prank, that was more a bunch of angry drunk students getting their final revenge, but in a very unplanned sort of method that ended up kind of... well, it didn't end well. Let's just say that.

It didn't end well.

2. That would depend on how you define 'well', really.

3. Oh, yeah.
But, if I told you I would have to kill you.

Letting mice loose in the cafeteria, letting the air out of all the teacher's tires.

Good times. Good times.

I think this one is brilliant. Let four goats loose in the building numbered 1,2,3,5.

5. We had the senior skip drunk day...
as mentioned above.

My class didn't do any pranks of note, at least that I can recall. The couple of years before us though did...

My favorite was they somehow got a bunch of junk tires up and dropped down the flag pole. Needed chainsaws to remove them.

A close second was someone fertilizing "FUCK" in the center of the football field.

Also, an earlier year managed to get greased pigs lose in the halls. I hate to think of how scared the little piggies must have been, but the picture of the teachers and school officials trying to catch them is hard not to laugh at. Loses points for originality though.

So if there are any high school seniors reading this, have fun!

6. Parked a stolen construction crane in front of our school
Placed safety cones around it, too. It wasn't molested for over a week. I did not drive the crane.

7. I was in Band; we made up our own pranks
:P

Like removing a mirror from the Fieldhouse bathrooms, sitting out on the lawn in front of it during lunch hour and shining the sun through the glass doors of the pricipals' offices. In one hour, we burned out the a/c unit

Then there was the "What can we throw off the top of the stadium bleachers today?" prank :P

8. If you call putting a live horse in the girls' room a prank, then I think my school would qualify.

9. We filled condoms with ranch dressing
and hung them on the principals car. It was a very hot day... by the end of the day it wasn't pretty at all.

10. Yes. We held a clandestine senior kegger on the roof of the school.
during school hours. In broad daylight. It was actually quite effective. And yes, I'm one of the students who helped rope off the sight lines the night before.

11. Not at the HS I attended, but one year when I was teaching
at a high school the seniors carted off a "Bob's Big Boy" statue (like the one below) from in front of a local restaurant and put it on the roof over the front office of the school. It was pretty funny, but the administration didn't think so. They cancelled the senior "beach day" activity in retribution.

we listed the dean's car in the classifieds for a low amount. He was always getting calls about his car on his school phone line.

14. Every day was prank day. At least with the guys.
They were so awful to each other, but they seemed to love it. The worst was when a guy would be standing, someone else would go talk to him to keep his attention. Another guy would get behind him and get on all fours. Then the guy talking to him would push the unsuspecting guy so that he would fall backwards over the guy on all fours. So wrong. But I went to a very small school. My graduating class had only 40 in it. All of us were friends. There were no outcasts.

16. Oh, that brings back memories. We used to push guys into the bandsaws and lathes.
"Ha ha! You lost an arm again, looooser!"

And then we'd all high five and go shower the blood off and share a few pints of brandy with the gym teachers.

God, I miss high school.

17. On the first day of classes, we always told the new students
Edited on Sun Feb-08-09 08:23 PM by Jamastiene
that they needed to take the elevator for that certain class...no matter which class they were trying to find. To pull it off just right, you had to get a real serious look, like that class was the only class you had to take the elevator to get to...and you had to act like the elevator was very scary to ride in. Thing was, we didn't have any elevators in the school at all.

18. Throwing sophomores off the Lake Steilacoom Bridge.
When I was a Senior, me and a couple of my buddies kidnapped my brother, who was a sophomore that year, and drove him out to the bridge and threatened to throw him over. We scared the shit out of him, but didn't go through with it. I was just pissed at him for being more popular than I was.

It was only about eight feet from the bridge to the water, so we didn't think it was dangerous. Later that year, a young kid was swimming in Lake Steilacoom (unrelated to the pranks), nearly drowned, and suffered permanent brain damage. So we didn't do that anymore.

BTW, my brother and I are best friends these days... B-)

22. In my brother's year a private school some of the guys (not my brother) set up
a tennis ball machine in the grand hall. They set it to go off during dinner. And put chairs on the stairs leading up to the balcony where the tennis ball machine was.

That is the only prank I've ever heard of.
