Know any good dream interpretation books or sites?

I have been having the same batch of recurring dreams and I think my subconscious is telling me something


Its not the usual recurring ones like flying, teeth falling out etc

I hate going to sleep because I hate dreaming, maybe if I figure it out then I can finally go back to the usual weird dreams

1. Can you tell us a little bit about them?

I had a series of snake dreams a few years ago, and though they were scary at the time, I miss them. :(

3. One is about my ex fiance

which is weird, because its been like 18 yrs (it was a very immature college romance). I have been hapily married to a wondeful man for just over 10 yrs (I mean we have had our ups and downs, but I could never imagine loving anyone as much as I love him).

The dreams are always the same... in my dream I am with the ex, and I am confused because I am not happy at all and I am trying to get a hold of my hubby... in my dream I keep saying to myself this isn't right, I have someone who makes me happy. But I can't get a hold of him. When I wake up I feel so lost, I usually have to grab hubby and make him hold me and promise to never let me go.

Sorry to say that, but it's an unusual dream, for sure.

I'm not sure a topical dream interpretation site will help you. It's certainly not a classic anxiety dream, but it's got some elements.

Maybe it's about the fear of making the wrong decision, somehow? :shrug:

6. I'm getting "fear of loss" off of that.

However, the best way to do dream interpretation is to ask yourself what the elements in the dream mean. For example, how old were you when you were with the ex, what was your life like then, what did he mean to you? This kind of thing. And then see what he seems to stand for and if this is something you think you are missing or have too much of.

What irritates me is that dreams are such a crapshoot. The awsome-est or the scary-est can happen at any time.

Mine just sucked and I'm now.. hmm.. decompressing.

I am not so sure any of that "interpretation" stuff works though. If I shared many of my dreams to be interpreted, I'd probably be locked up.
