6. I wish those who look upon pets as a commidity that can be

tossed aside if the novelty wears off, would take this to heart. Animals do bond with us and they clearly DO have emotions. It always breaks my heart to hear these stories and think how desperate that animal must have felt to get back "home."

Pets, like children, are a lifetime responsibility. But the reward that comes from having them in our lives is immeasurable.
