How do you put pics in your sig line?

Place the url of the image to which you are linking in the sig line. Easy as pie.

did you use the brackets around the url? Try again without the brackets and with just the url, then a space, then your text.

Download the image to your a: drive. Rename it a short, easy name, like godrepub.jpg. Then go to this website:

It's an easy uploader. Upload the image. It will take you to another page after the image has been uploaded. Copy the url of your image.

Then, try posting THAT url in your sig.

they don't allow leeching. save the image and upload it to your own file space.

If it's for your sig, though, you may want to resize it so that it's closer to DU rules. Dial-up people have probs with big file images.

You can reduce file size by reducing image quality to medium. Not much to it.

Still, don't change to another image...that's so damned funny!

Lately sometimes the graphics don't show up on people's posts. Right now they are not working so I didn't post. I just copied your directions into word. They all showed up in word. Is my computer set up crazy or is it DU?

I posted in plain text a couple times above. Is that what you mean?

Sometimes you will get a red x instead of the image. That's because people have exceeded the bandwidth output on their hosting server.

This server, provided by a DUer, has not bandwidth limit, but a limit on the image size it will host. It's consistently the best free server I have used.
