Poll question: Favorite Zevon tune
Ok, the period of mourning is finally over. As a tribute to the Piano Fighter, here's another little poll. Reply with Other votes, or with your own tributes to another of the Good Dead Ones, gone too soon.

This is impossible to cut down to 9 songs. Don't anybody think I'll be offended by Other votes, unless you don't specify in a reply what you're voting for. If you only know "Werewolves," do yourself a favor and get some of Warren's records (and in the mean time, vote for "Keep Me In Your Heart." Trust me.)

Here's the whole discography for your reference: http://www.warrenzevon.com/music/

11. "Let's Party for the Rest of the Night"
On "The Wind". Features a two-note guitar solo worthy of the angels.

I hear that song and I think of a guy named Ramone, smiling...

21. "The Envoy"? Nah, "Join me in LA", Maybe "Excitable Boy",,,,,,,Maybe
What a career of great songwriting and performance. Everything on his first 2 albums is great, but Warren always had good new stuff as well.

23. "Send Lawyers, Guns, and Money"
....it was SO close with "Desparados Under the Eaves". I love that song so much, too, and it signified Zevon's bout with alcohol so well. And, it has one of my favorite verses ever:

And if California slides into the ocean
Like the mystics and statistics say it will
I predict this hotel will be standin'
Until I pay my bill

Just classic..
