In honor of it being less than 48 hours until pitchers and catchers report...what
MLB* team could you safely bet the farm on NOT winning the World Series this year?

*You'll note that I DID include "MLB" meaning Major League Baseball in the United States to keep you smartasses from submitting teams like the Boston Bruins and the Dallas Cowboys.

30. I recently had a dream the O's were in the postseason.
And as crazy as it sounds, I also remember having a dream in early 2003 that the Marlins were in the World Series, so maybe there's a chance.

6. Babe.
They were in the playoffs last season. They most certainly DO NOT suck.

I mean, the Phils kicked their asses in the playoffs, but still. :hi:

Okay - I really need to stop now. She lives within driving distance of me.

The Cubs not sucking would cause an irreparable tear in the space-time continuum.

17. No, they don't suck.
They are actually fantastic - until playoff time. And then they fall apart.

They're like the Philadelphia Eagles of the MLB.

28. It really is sad.
I'm not a Cubs fan, but they were the team to beat this year. IIRC, their W-L record during the regular season was the best in the NL, if not the entire MLB.

But playoffs came, and they crashed and burned in the first round. It was difficult to watch.

There's nothing to see here. Truth be told, while I wouldn't put it past the Phils to get to the WS again this year, I don't expect them to actually win one until I'm about 65 years old.
