The humor of the Oasis threads is that I come up with an obtuse angle from which to criticise the Beatles and praise Oasis, not that I simply say that one is better than the other.

If the IP matches me, then yeah, they could reasonably say it was me, but if it goes back to some proxy somewhere, then there's no telling who it is.

I guess another argument in my defense is the sheer number of my threads which get locked for being "flamebait". Like if I had a tendency to use sockpuppets, I would have created many of them by now to post all those flamebait threads, keeping my own account clean. But I've had threads locked even in between the time MrPerson showed up and now.
