This song has meant a lot to me. It's not just beautiful because of the song and her phenomenal multi-octave voice, but the lyrics are searing. It's about being at the end of your life and looking back, wondering if anything could have been done differently, how just when you "get it" and know what you need to know to live a full life, you die. It's a sad song, but inspirational in an odd way. It's not religious, but it is spiritual if you choose to look at it that way. I'm an atheist and I love it so much it doesn't matter.
