The poster asked when the Redskins should resign Campbell.

Now, my personal feeling about Campbell is, that he doesn't have "it", although I like the guy. But, I couldn't let the "resign" vs "re-sign" go, since they have fairly opposite meanings. In my belief, Campbell should not be re-signed, and it is fairly obvious he won't just resign.

Another one that gets me is "corps" vs "core", as in "the wide receiver corps" almost always being referred to as "core". Usually, they don't replace corps for core, though, as in "he is in our core group of players".

I must be grumpy. Usually, I would just groan and move on. Today, however, I felt the need to point it out. I can't be the only one it bugs.

Honestly, I never take exception to people who post corrections on message boards. In the back of my mind, I'm thinking the same things, but I normally refrain from coming out and posting my corrections. If I had empirical evidence that it worked, I'd be all over it. As things are now, I usually figure I'm wasting my words.
