2. It's funny how simple the show was back then.
It was all character driven. Heck I even missed Boone there for a sec. :)

3. Heller's Catch-22 should be on every Lost fan's reading list...
"Heck I even missed Boone there for a sec."

But do we really know who's dead or not anymore? I've got a gentleman's bet with a friend that death may not be as permanent as we suspect what with everything that's been happening this season.

Heller's Catch-22 should be on every Lost fan's reading list-- especially this season.

4. That's what has made me a bit down on the show
they have killed off way too many of the good characters.

6. But are they really dead
I think we are gonna see all of the characters who have "died" over the past few seasons by the end of next year.

7. So is Claire really dead?
I mean, we saw her in Jacob's cabin last season with Jack's (and her) father? Does that mean she's dead? Or just likes to hang out in a cabin with a ghost and an invisible guy who may or may not exist?

On the other hand, I knew Jin wouldn't be dead for long, so I wasn't too shocked to see him turn up at the end of last episode.

My thing about Lost, my favorite drama that I currently watch on TV (now that I've lost HBO), is that I love, love, love the show for the ride it takes me on, but I'm still not sure if I have any idea what really is going on or where it is going. Or if the show's producers do either, for that matter. But it still manages to be so intriguing that I really don't mind that, and it hasn't "lost" me yet.

13. Seriously - something happened during season #3 that totally turned me off
I thought it was interesting how they found a way to bring on more survivors in season #2 by having another part of the plane crash elsewhere on the island. They brought in 3 main characters (and there was one minor one but never mainstream part of the group) and by the 2nd or 3rd episode of season #3 they killed off all 3 of those characters.

I understand why they had to get rid of Michelle Rodriguiz after all the off-screen issues she was causing. But they found a unique twist for Cynthia Waltros' character involving Hurley and that big Black dude (whose name I forgot) seemed to represent the conflicting moral values of everyone on the island.

He was the last one killed of that group and I was done watching the show. I tried watching it with the permament people on the island but they just bored me to tears.
