SO Maddy was screeching and whining about a cat in the front yard. She was pawing the window and whining and scratching at the windowsill. This was going ON and ON and she was getting the other dogs all wound up.

I got sick of it, so I threw her out in the back yard.

Moments later I hear a loud CRASH.

Yes, she knocked over all the little lettuces, broccoli, sages, and penstemons, and half of them were smashed. x(

So again, does anyone want a puppy? x(

9. My puppy jumped a 4 foot fence at doggie day care

from a standing position. One of his friends was leaving for the day, so he decided to go airborne over the fence to where the other dog was. I feel proud of his athletic ability while shocked at how hard it is to contain him if he really wants to do something.

11. Aw, that's part of being friends with a dog.

They do stuff that will upset you, ruin things you own & do some questionable things. All is forgiven due to the unconditional love they give their humans. I didn't do a thing when my three pups chewed the arm off of a leather jacket that I had owned for twenty years, I just figured it was my fault for leaving it where they could get at it.

I had to stop hanging laundry out to dry when we got our first dog...a border collie. She'd leap up, grab stuff off the line, and tear it to shreds. That was bad enough, but I was afraid she'd strangle herself on the line; and I wouldn't have been able to bear that...
