6. Every Saturday night...Hotdogs and beans, hot dogs and beans...

My dad would always get the big cube of porkfat or whatever it was that came in every can of BM baked beans...We were all from Boston and it seems like it was a tradition...I've always hated baked beans ever since but I got a slow cooker for Christmas and I've got a yen to try out and old ham hocks and barbequed beans recipe but I can't seem to remember what it was I liked about it...At least I live alone now so experimenting shouldn't cause any (social) pressure!
