1. Damn, that episode was so damn funny
Edited on Thu Feb-12-09 02:02 AM by petersond
thats when Lex and the Flash switch bodies....Flash is actually Lex in that clip...

On the reverse side, Lex (trapped in the Flash's body) is dodging the JLA on the Watchtower...and during a reprieve, he looks at himself in a mirror, and states "at least I can find out a secret identity" and takes the Flash's mask off...he stares at himself for a minute and says "I have no idea who this is"

:D

I still like the one where Wonderwoman gets turned into a pig, and Batman has to sing at the end...classic.

2. The big irony to that episode is that Michael Rosenbaum does the voice for The Flash in that series
Edited on Thu Feb-12-09 02:10 AM by DarkTirade
... so in that episode he was playing Lex Luthor. :P

"Now I can find out who the Flash really is!" *takes off the mask and looks in the mirror. "... I have no idea who this is."

He does great as a voice actor...he even did Deadshots voice in the JLA animated series....

4. Remember when the government went all Bush on the Justice League
False Flag ops, torture, spying, experimenting with super powers.

I was like "I bet this is how it would happen EXACTLY if Bush was president and we had super heroes."

5. And we all saw that 'alternate reality' with what would have happened if Superman got pushed too far
:scared:

8. I was surprised Batman went along with it all.
Batman is the guy that keeps kyrptonite in his belt just in case he needs to put Superman down. And then Superman kills someone and Batman just shrugs. WTF

11. I thought Bats was dead by the time that happened
I thought the first tipping point was the death of Flash, then Batman...then Supes and the others started laying their own law down(I might be wrong, its been at least a year plus since I saw those).

12. Nope, Bats was still alive.
He was the one who decided that the cost of peace was too much in that case, and helped the Justice League.

Just Flash. Remember Batman had that alternate reality Justice Lords outfit? And then he and our Batman went for a drive.

6. Yep, those episodes
were pretty good too, showing how the US Govt would tackle the situation...pretty similar to how it happened in Kingdom Come by Alex Ross.

7. I've always wanted DC to make a DVD of Kingdom Come.
If they made it well it would be so awesome.

9. Oh man,
it would be awesome...KC is still one of my favorite storylines(although its considered elseworlds)...I read the novel before I read the graphic...both were awesome, the artwork in the Graphic was, just downright amazing.

13. Same here,
I thought a lot of the storyline/arc would be lost in the graphic, but nope...graphic carried just as much weight as the novel did...

I got the novel by accident...I went looking for KC, and found the novel, and just assumed it was only created in Novel form...and the few pic's in the novel, I was thinking...hmm, this would make a great graphic...

About two years later I saw the graphic at Hastings, and swooped on it fast.

17. The way the novel described how the Flash moved
I mean I got the idea from the comic but the novel went through daily activites for the Flash and his family. It was so bad ass.

21. Totally agree,
it was amazing...I also like how they made WonderWoman, well, a Amazonian bad ass for a change...the way in which they depicted her in the KC was amazing, I was actually a WW fan, and pulling for her....

15. Might be a little darker than they'd like to market to the younger crowd though,
and they always consider that with cartoons.

18. Hmm, they took a different approach
with Superman/Doomsday the animated flick...I believe it was pg-13, and showed Doomsday killing quite a few people, blood and all of that...

I assume they could take the same approach with a KC animation.

Did you see Justice League New Frontier? Hal Jordan blows the head off that kid that was trying to kill him.

it was released, or late 2007...

It was set in the 50's, or 60's...

20. Batman was my favorite Justice League member cause of his bad attitude.
It always made me laugh at how much of a dick he was to everyone. I loved it! Like when The League was having problems working with each other and they were running that obstical course. Batman runs it and then says "call me when you actually need me" Then I think he takes off.

But he always had the best lines.

23. Yep, he was the
Eternal Badass in the JLA line, and in comics basically...

It was crazy how almost all of the JLA bowed down to the Bat...kinda aggravating, but amusing at the same time....:D

27. Thats why I liked the Circe
episode in the JLA animated series...where he had to bow/cow tow to Circe in order to turn Wonderwoman from a pig, back to herself again...

Circe actually made the Bat sing!

30. Actually it's not the first time we've heard him sing in that set of shows...
We'd heard him kind of hum to himself a few times, mostly to foil people trying to get into his head via telepathy. But in Batman: Beyond as kind of a gag Terry brought Bruce to see "Batman: The Musical", and he did the singing voice for the Batman in the short clip it showed from that. :)

32. sweet
I've only seen all of the JLA animated series, with the JLU as well...I haven't started with the Batman The Animated Series, or Superman The Animated series...I gotta lack of funds, and the brain power to actually go find them....

I find it humorous as hell, when the Bat has to do something out of character...the child episode of JLA was entertaining as well, when they were all turned into 10yr old kids...funny times, I bet the writers/creators had fits of laughter creating that stuff.

kind of Joker gas or anything? Frightening and funny at the same time.
