Good morning Lounge
How are you today. I hope I attend my thread better today than yesterday and I apologize for not answering people. It won't happen again. :D

So yesterday I got a haircut. My hair is somewhat shorter now. It wasn't planned but I like it :) Here is the proof

GASP Your first pic is simply stunning!

And . . . no need to apologize. Sometimes outside obligations take us away from here, and that's okay. ;)

Your haircut is fabulous, and that's a great pic of you too. I was going to get my haircut last week, but postponed the appointment. Decided to see an accountant instead to talk about the wonderful world of taxes.

Yes, I for one am exceedingly glad it's Friday, but you know that already.

13. Yes, I can just picture you
scrambling to get your camera, but truly worth it. Those shots don't come just too often.

Your plans to go to the club sounds fun. I'm thinking of just hunkering in for the weekend, although I do have a few chores to attend to. Oh, and some domestic chores too. Weekends go by so fast no matter what.

because I didn't had my camera when it was so cold here and there was a gorgeous sunset. It was breathtaking. Even better than what I saw yesterday morning.

Ah yes ... those domestic chores await me as well. But it shouldn't take too long.

Weekends are ALWAYS too short.

21. I think I'm just going to keep
my camera with me at all times. Could have had a really nice shot of a sign last night on my way home from work. It's on the very top of a three story building. Looked great. Another missed opportunity.

Here are two sunset shots I took last weekend, right from my patio door.

MissHC told me you had left ... perhaps for some men!

Coffee IS important! I drink decaf, but even that is important. We've been so busy around here that no one has been able to shop. The food budget is barely getting touched ... but it's going to plenty of other places! I might make some pasta with sauce from the tomatoes I grew and froze during the summer. Wanna come over? :9

Home grown tomatoes? I'm right over. This past summer was the first summer in eons that I did not have a garden, although the Farmer's Market did get a lot of my business.

What a great view! And I like your haircut.

I'm anxiously waiting for the DU fundraiser to start. My star ran out last night at about 8:00pm my time, and I don't know how long I can take the ads. They are driving me crazy. I can afford to donate once, but not twice, and I want hearts! :D

I live with the ads two days by now already and I am ready to scream. I hope someone is showing me some love and I can get my star back. Even though it annoys me that I donated and dno't have my star back. Emailed Skinner about it.

The view is fantastic, huh? I love it love it love it.

And the haircut .... seems like it was the right decision :D

46. I only read the ones that
don't have stupid female characters. Otherwise I feel cheated. :)

I personally think that the female centric genres are heavily underrated - just like any genre there are a handful of very talented people writing, and the rest is awful. It doesn't seem fair that these genres are looked at as somehow lower in quality than other genres (like mysteries or sci-fi or whatever), so I try to support them when I can. It's my feminism, sort of.

I like your new haircut. I need mine done desperately.

I was doing ok today until my mom called. Then she made me feel like shit again for the separation/divorce and basically made me feel like a total fuck up. Yay! And I get to spend next week at their house. Joy!

What are you doing for our birthday? I'm driving to Rhode Island with the kids by myself and pretending I'm not turning 40. :P

54. Hey there BNL
Sorry that your mom is bugging you.
You are not the only one in that situation. My grandma never forgave my mom for divorcing my dad. Even though my parents stayed friends and my dad was always welcome in my mom's family till he died.

And you are definitely not a total fuck-up. You are a strong person who chose to be happy :loveya:

I definitely needed a haircut too. Last time I went to get one was begin of November ... you get the idea.

On our b.day itself I won't do much. Work in the morning, bring food and champagne to work and have a small party at noon.
Saturday in a week I have my b.day and house warming party with friends and family. Pretending I don't turn 34.

Oh .. Rhode Island. That sounds like a wonderful trip. Never been there but heard it is beautiful scenery.
