What's for lunch, DU?
I had a day off school today so I got to cook. I made sauteed kale and cherry tomatoes with garlic and thyme. I kind of threw it together, and I'll definitely make it again. Also, I had egg noodles with gorgonzola cheese melted on them. Yum.

You?

1. Don't know
Depends upon when the Safeway delivery guy gets here.

Yes, I am having my groceries delivered, yes it is the height of laziness, but I am still short of stamina after having the one two punch of surgery then pneumonia, so cut me a break.

8. It really is.
I get too worn out from shopping to actually do any cooking...so the delivery is perfect.

4. This is probably going to sound kind of weird,
but I had leftover pumpkin curry soup from last night...with peanut butter, shredded coconut, and a few dark chocolate chips added in. :9 It was actually quite tasty. :hi:

12. Half of yesterday's Subway
one of the perks of an offsite meeting is, if there's a Subway nearby (and there usually is), that takes care of two days' lunches. Useful when your cubicle farm is decidedly on the wrong side of the tracks with very few appealing options nearby.

13. Healthy coney dogs
I made them with soy dogs and turkey chili. That weren't half bad. They weren't half good either. Actually with onions and ketchup & mustard they were pretty edible.

14. I went to Denny's and had a grand slam.
No, really. I did.

I would have preferred going somewhere else, but it's where the kids wanted to go.
