I scored serious "good hubby" points!
My wife is, amazingly, even less technologically adept than I am, so I volunteered to set up her new MP3 player. Yes, I even loaded the stuff that she likes but that I never listen to, e.g., Randy Travis. I did slip some Pogues, Waterboys, and Steve Earle in their for good measure, though.

1. Did you rip all the CDs yourself,
or even better, digitize her old favorite records?

Because I'm supposed to do that, but I'm too lazy.

2. I'm in the process of ripping her cds
(That sounds kind of dirty)

Reba, Diamond Rio, Shania Twain, etc. Keep in mind that I am a guy who drank with Concrete Blonde's opening act when i was younger.

I will keep sliding stuff in there, though. I'm thinking "Please Stop Me", a catchy country-rock/janglepop song by Guadalcanal Diary. When you actually listen to the lyrics, you realize it's from the point of view of a serial killer.

3. The fact that you loaded the Waterboys
would gain you big hubby points with me. Well, if you were my hubby LOL. I also listen to Randy Travis on occasion. Go figure. :-)

On Planet Susanna, DH stocked my iPod but good. Even though I am technologically inclined, that sort of stuff bores me. So he handled it, and I have all sorts of nifty things now. I  him.

Guadalcanal Diary. Now there's a band you don't hear about much anymore. Just for that reference alone, :yourock:
